Running with impaired or no vision - surely not?
Running is for anyone, of any age.
There are well recognised benefits to running, including physical, emotional,
psychological and social - it really is inclusive and breaks barriers!
Running does NOT mean going as fast as you can!
The best way to begin is with the acclaimed Couch to 5k course, developed by the NHS.
This simple, easy to follow course takes you from not running at all (the couch)
to being able to run 5k in around ten weeks.
A FREE app can be downloaded on Android and Apple devices.
All of our guide runners are familiar with the Couch to 5k programme and can assist you.
parkrun is a worldwide movement of FREE local 5k events, open to everyone, where you can run, jog or walk - whatever suits you.
parkrun is VERY welcoming and inclusive.

No matter your age, we have trained guide runners for you.
We liaise closely with Angel Eyes NI, RNIB NI and Guide Dogs in NI.
