Our chosen charity for this year:
TEAM KERR & AARON'S ARMY
(NI registered charity NIC106304)
Raising funds to purchase running joggers to help enrich disabled people's lives.
Aaron's Army provides running joggers to disabled people, enabling them to spend quality time with their family & friends.
The joggers offer the opportunity to have new experiences, and visit places that were once inaccessible.
Aaron's Army is 100% non-profit.
The organisers of RUNNING BLIND are very grateful to our primary sponsor Heartsine, a member of the Stryker Group, for their generous sponsorship of this event.
ABOUT RUNNING BLIND
Originating from an idea by Colm 'Bootsy' Fearon after guiding a visually impaired runner, RUNNING BLIND is intended to be a fun event for all that raises awareness of visually impaired running, promote #inclusion, and raise much needed funds for LOCAL charity, helping LOCAL families.
The organising team are avid runners, experienced event organisers and volunteers - no-one on the team is paid in any way.
